Born UK. Came to Australia in 1974.
30 years in the meat industry (International marketing and executive management. Managed Wagga abattoir for two years. Member of various industry organisations several as Chair or Director.
Small business owner in small SA country town 12 years.
Head of Department of Premier and Cabinet for North Coast Regional Coordination Branch covering Taree to Tweed Heads based in Coffs Harbour.
Couple of years with Richmond Valley Council in economic development then retired in 2017.
Time living in a small country town developed a passion for regional development. Actively involved with local Community Development Association (member and president). Also a Councillor and deputy Mayor of our small rural Council. Chair Southern Flinders Regional Tourism Authority for7 years. Chair Southern Flinders Regional Development Board and subsequently Chair inaugural Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North board.
Currently presenter of Blues with Mike on 2AIRFM and a member of Regional Development Australia Northern Rivers board.
